ASSESSMENT OF BIODENTINE PULPOTOMY AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO CONVENTIONAL ROOT CANAL TREATMENT FOR PERMANENT TEETH IN CHILDREN-AN IN VIVO STUDY

Aim To assess outcome Biodentine complete coronal symptomatic reversible pulpitis. Methodology In present study 30 healthy age below 12 years were selected after clinical radiographic assessment. Pulpotomy technique was carried out local anaesthesia rubber dam application. After exposure, amputated level orifices (full pulpotomy) using sterile spoon excavator high-speed round bur under water coolant. Hemostasias achieved by cotton pellet moistened 3 % NaOCl 2 minutes repeat needed, haemostasis mixed according manufacturer’s instructions gently placed over thickness 2-3 mm restoration placed. All treated patients followed up at 3-month,6-month,9-month interval evaluation. Resulting data tabulated statistically analyzed. Results.
